The Symptoms
By Eric Wennerstrand (AKA E is for Epic)
The times are wicked, when the evil rule.
I wise man suffers at the hand of a fool.
The days are painful when liars reign
When our children are forsaken for the sake of gain
The nations tremble and the killers kill
My people die for the sake of a thrill
in a prison of hell, in a dungeon of pain;
those who enter are never the same
those who enter are never the same
those who enter are never the same
those who enter are never the same
those who enter are never the same
These are symptoms of the day
won't go away, they're here to stay
unless you take your stand
understand, you have to take your stand
The schools, the hood, the violent, the lewd
teaching our kids to steal for food,
the media kings collect their tolls while
the shit they feed us rots our souls.
Masses are destroyed and fully consumed
by corporate monsters in their hi-tech tombs
while the armies, like puppets do as they're told
a little old man is growing cold
a little old man is growing cold
a little old man is growing cold
a little old man is growing cold
a little old man is growing cold
These are symptoms of the day
won't go away, they're here to stay
unless you take your stand
understand, you have to take your stand
Take your stand, Take your stand, Take your stand
Take your stand, Take your stand, Take your stand
The world is mean, disguised with nice
no matter who you are,
you can make a difference, take my advice
the difference will take you far, so far
damn the torpedoes, full ahead,
ramming speed's what you need,
you can make a change, attack or die,
it time to take the lead. Take the lead
You've got to take the lead, you've got to take the
Take the lead,
Take the lead,
Take the lead.
The law is corrupt and justice for sale.
The lawless go free and the prisons fail.
Taxes levied; a debtors jail,
and those who pay are living in hell.
A preacher lies; blind as a bat,
leaching off the poor and getting fat
Nature destroys, inflicts with pain
We wallow in our pity and try to stay sane.
These are symptoms of the day
won't go away, they're here to stay
you've got to
take your stand understand, you have to take your stand
take your stand understand, you have to take your stand
take your stand understand, you have to take your stand
take your stand understand, you have to take your stand

"...His style of playing is called "epic". Epic- as applied to music means bombastic, profoundly large in scope or depth and
well composed. He says that’s what he aims for. "It has to be dynamic and interesting, or it isn’t music" he says."

Von Din has awesome grooves and beats. I especially like their compositions, it's not your typical pop music, though some of it is very catchy. E is for Epic
